  Tucana, the Toucan Bird, is completely visible in latitudes South of 14 degrees North from August - October.

Tucana was invented by Pieter Dirksz Keyser and Fredrick de Houtman between 1595 and 1597.

Tucana's claim to fame; is the Small Magellanic Cloud, which is a satelitte galaxy to the Mily Way, the other interesting thing about SMC is that it posses an NGC number, the Large Magellanic Cloud does not have an NGC number, even though it is much denser and brighter, and neither do the Pleaides (M45).
